Behind the Scenes & Fan Interactions
This week the setting for this episode was a camping trip to plant trees near a river. This happens a lot in these shows. I’ve never been on a college camping trip, but there were junior high school camping trips. I live in the US, so I don’t know if it’s different in other countries. But there are many shows that reference planting trees as a volunteer camp activity that people sign up for. I first saw this in Lovesick season 2. It’s an interesting setting and it gives a chance for the couples to bond over sleeping in a tent together, or doing an activity together. Also helps with the potential lost in the woods scenario where one of the main character has to get rescued.
All that being said, it’s always very pretty where they go. The scenery is lush and it always feels tropical. I don’t like camping, at all, but somehow that make it seem appealing. But of course, I still wouldn’t want to do that. I hate bugs. And I love soft beds. I know I’m spoiled, but can’t help that I like my creature comforts. 😁 And camp showers creep me out. Yuck.
So what kind of behind the scenes details did we get this week? Apparently the show has a lot of Chinese fans, so they released some behind the scenes clip and photos. They didn’t post them other places so I will leave them down below. I enjoyed the zen state of Talay in the river. It looks peaceful.
This clip is in Thai, so not quite sure what is going on, but I know that Perth points to Shane, so I guess it must be something about him. I’m sorry, I know that’s not really helpful, but it’s the real struggle for international fans like myself when there aren’t a lot of things translated into English.
Fans were asking them to release some of the pictures taken during the episode, so they released these three photos on set.
I love Talay’s flower crown…so pretty.
I know I said I don’t like camping, but I do like hiking. I love the feel of wading into the river, cold crisp water flowing around your legs, with pebbles and rocks underneath your feet, the smell of grass and damp earth around you. So when I see a picture like this I almost feel like I’m standing there with them.

The cast interview section with English subs for this part. I want every couple to end happily, but I’m pretty sure that’s not going to happen.
We will be getting some kind of summer show or content. Not sure if it is a show of the cast interactions, special episode or what, but they posted this clip on the official twitter page of My Engineer. The boys are playing a game and having fun.
They also released their viewing party of the cast watching episode 11 together. This was posted by twitter user @supershipperz who subbed a section into English.
Honestly I love how Cooper and Poy tease each other all the time. They are too funny together.
